Ann-Marie Wilson
Ann-Marie spent the first eight years of her career in blue chip banking, retail and gas companies. During those years she worked in Operational and Head Office HR and Training Roles. She then moved to a Marketing and HR Pan-European role in the City.
After a feeling of mismatch with her values and those of the City in the early 1990s, she started her own coaching practice. Qualifying in Coaching, Counselling and various NLP Therapies, she also understood a Psychology Doctorate to add breadth to her skills and understanding to be able to help clients in the not-for-profit sector on their journey.
Nine years ago Ann-Marie made a move to work in the aid sector, and has sat as a Director/Trustee on seven charity Boards. She has worked in nineteen countries, extensively in Africa and Asia, as a Consultant/Trainer, Change Agent or Capacity Builder, working in any one program for up to 7 months. During this time, she has delivered many trainings and coached face to face and at a distance to international and local Senior Staff, Directors and Trustees.
Ann-Marie’s philosophy is “I feel everyone has the right be the best they can be. I walk with someone on their journey, and help clients find their own strategies and solutions to the situations in which they find themselves. I am excited to see people, teams and organisations change and become more happy and productive as they fulfil their potential”.
“Following my coaching with Ann-Marie, I feel so much better about my future, and I have decided to set up in business within the next six months. Our meeting was very liberating for me”.
